Stage 2 - Assessment Evidence

Students will be given ample practice time for each skill taught to them.
There will be a skills test given on all of the different skills(bump, set , serve) and students will be graded on their perfromance based on a skill rubric.
Students will be given quizes throughout the unit on terminology that is important and displayed on the word wall.
There will also be a unit test that includes all volleyball terminology and game situation multiple choice questions.
Stage 3 - Learning Plan

What learning experiences and instruction will enable students to achieve the desired results?
Set: 1. Students will be introduced to the set by showing them the proper technique and explain how and when they should use this shot.
2. Students will be given various activities to help them practice the set so they can improve their technique so that they become more successful.
3. After students have practiced for an alotted amount of time they will be given their skill test.
This process will be repeated for each skill before we go into game play situations.
